Innovation

Our business continues to grow and we have embarked on ambitious plans to develop a purpose-built 240,000 ft2 (22,000m2) bottling facility at our main site in County Durham. When completed, Greencroft Two will be the most modern and environmentally sustainable wine bottling facility in the world, housing new filling lines – including canning and sparkling – and increasing capacity up to 400 million litres per year.

Sustainability

Sustainability is important to us and we believe every business has a duty of care to minimise its impact on the environment. The Lanchester Group has invested over £10million in renewable energy and heat generation, and our facility is predominantly powered by renewable wind energy, generated by our three on-site wind turbines. We are continuing this ethos in our new Greencroft Two facility which will also use power from our wind turbines as well as 1,000,000 Watts of solar panels on its south-facing roof.
